Bezos and Crew Head to Space: How to Watch the Blue Origin Launch

Tomorrow, July 20th, Jeff Bezos and crew are headed to space on the first human flight of Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket. Blue Origin will live stream pre-launch, launch, and post launch events from Launch Site One, the spaceflight company’s West Texas facility.

Billionaire and founder Jeff Bezos announced earlier this month that he would ride in the first human flight of New Shepard, and that his brother Mark would join him. The company then announced an auction for a third seat, which is now being filled by Oliver Daeman, making him the youngest astronaut ever. To the delight of just about everyone, Bezos announced that aviator Wally Funk would be riding on the historic flight.

The crew will be launching on what is the 16th flight of New Shepard, six years after the rocket was debuted by the company. The launch date was specifically chosen for it’s historical significance. July 20th is the anniversary of the Moon landing by the Apollo 11 crew.
